The Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton must really love each other’s way, because after previously announcing a series of joint North American spring tour dates, the veteran rockers have now lined up a lengthy summer trek together.

The outing kicks off on June 12 in Evansville, Indiana, and is plotted out through an August 25-26 engagement in Woodinville, Washington. At all of the joint concerts, the Steve Miller Band and Frampton will play their own separate sets, and Peter also will join Steve and his group for some onstage jamming.

Tickets for the newly announced shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com. Steven

The initial run of Steve Miller Band shows with Frampton kicks off April 14 in Victoria, Canada, and is scheduled through an April 28 concert in New Town, North Dakota. Steve Miller and his group also will be playing the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 6.

Meanwhile, this year marks a major milestone in the Miller Band’s history. “I’m very excited to announce that 2018 is our 50th anniversary of recording and touring together as the Steve Miller Band,” Steve says in a statement, “and we plan to travel between the psychedelic sixties through the future with a vengeance!”

Details about how Miller and company plan to celebrate the anniversary of their debut album, Children of the Future, will be revealed soon.
