Former Nebraska guard Andrew White was added to the Atlanta Hawks roster Sunday.
White, who averaged 16.6 points and 5.9 rebounds for the Huskers during the 2015-16 season before transferring to Syracuse, had been playing in the G League before being moved up to the parent team.
White started this season with the Maine Red Claws, an affiliate of the Boston Celtics where he averaged 15.8 points per game.
Last month Atlanta signed White to a two-way contract and he had been playing for the Hawks’ G League team, the Erie BayHawks. White averaged 15 points and 3.4 rebounds in 10 games there before being promoted.
