COLUMBUS – With the addition of Columbus Plastic Surgery, the Columbus Community Hospital has filled a gap in health services offered to Columbus residents.
CPS is the first-ever plastic surgery clinic in Columbus, and CCH Director of Clinics Korie Whitmore says that local patients will no longer have to drive out of their way to receive cosmetic or reconstructive services. Whitmore says that it was a vast project to put together, but that it is very exciting to see the hard work pay off with the opening of the clinic.
Joining CPS is Dr. Sanjay Mukerji, who has spent the last 18 years practicing as a plastic surgeon in the midwest. Mukerji says that was practicing in Aberdeen, South Dakota when Columbus came across his radar, as a former colleague “sang the praises” of CCH and the administration.
Mukerji also says that being a part of a brand new clinic was also very exciting, and believes there is a lot of growth potential for CPS. Mukerji thinks that CPS not only will attract many local patients, but patients from surrounding communities as well once word spreads about the high quality care being offered.
Procedures offered by CPS include breast augmentations, breast lifts, tummy tucks, nose jobs, skin care procedures, and neck and face lifts. Other services offered include upper and lower eyelid surgeries, arm and thigh lifts, among other procedures.
