Columbus – Burger King is closed following a fire Friday afternoon.
Columbus Fire was dispatched to the burger joint at approximately 4:35 pm Friday afternoon for an unknown fire. Upon arrival, the Columbus Fire department was quickly able to put the fire out and determined a broiler to be the culprit.
The damage was contained and did not spread anywhere else in the restaurant. No injuries were reported and no transport was needed from Columbus Rescue units. Burger King was advised to call the health inspector before reopening.
