CCH Announces New Class for Expecting Parents

COLUMBUS – Columbus Community Hospital is introducing their new class Bump and Beyond for expecting parents.

The class is aimed at helping expecting parents plan ahead, and deal with the fears that come along with the excitement and joy of being a new parent, says a press release.

Hospital officials say experts will be on hand to teach attendees about the birthing process, among other topics.

“Experts will be on hand to teach parents about labor and delivery, comfort techniques and medical procedures, along with newborn and postpartum care,” says the release.

The classes begin in June, and the cost is $30. See the class schedule below.

June/July Classes:

Three-Week Evening Class Series:

Dates: June 4, June 11, June 18

Time: 6-8 p.m.

Weekend Express Series:

July 13 | 6-8 p.m.

July 14 | 8:00 a.m. – Noon

Payment in the form of cash or check will be collected at the time of the event. Only one registration is needed per couple. Spanish interpreters are available upon request. Register early. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis.
