CCH Holds Healthy Cooking & CPR Training Class

COLUMBUS – The Columbus Community Hospital held an event on Thursday evening to teach attendees effective ways to fight cardiovascular disease.

The event was called the Heart Healthy Cooking and Hands-Only CPR Training class, and it took place at the Columbus Wellness Center. The event was presented alongside the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women, with members of Circle of Red being invited to participate as well.

The event was split into two sections, with one teaching members about easy-to-make healthy and delicious meals, and the other training members in how to administer hands-only CPR to those experiencing cardiac arrest.

Members at the event also had the chance to win brand new KitchenAid items including a KitchenAid blender, KitchenAid hand mixer and KitchenAid food processor.
