COLUMBUS – The Columbus Community Hospital will be participating in the Safety in Football campaign, organized by the Nebraska State Athletic Trainers’ Association (NSATA).
The campaign is set to run from August 23 – 31 on social media, with its goal being to promote the importance of athletic trainers. During the campaign, CCH will spotlight local athletic trainers by posting about them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, sharing photos of trainers in action.
Numerous high schools and colleges will also participate in the campaign by placing a small sticker on the back of each player’s helmet during games. The stickers represent the combined efforts of those schools and NSATA to improve safety in youth football in Nebraska.
More information on the Safety in Football campaign can by found on the hospital’s website, as well as the website of the NSATA.
