Columbus High Graduate Signs With CCC Women’s Soccer

COLUMBUS – Central Community College has signed another local athlete for its brand new women’s soccer team.

Central announced Tuesday that CCC freshman and Columbus High School graduate Bailey Keller will play for the Raiders’ soccer team next season. Keller reunites with CCC head coach Jamie Bennett, who was her coach at CHS during her freshman year.

Keller will be a goalie for the Raiders, and helped lead CHS to the NSAA State Tournament as the Discoverers’ goalie during her senior season. Keller also participated in basketball and volleyball.

“I can’t wait to start playing soccer again, and can’t wait for what this season brings,” said Keller. “Being on this team will bring so many future opportunities for athletics.”

Keller, who is the daughter of Nick and Jillyan Schleich of Columbus, plans to transfer to a four-year institution to study radiology technology.
