Fremont Police Locate Stolen Vehicle

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department has found a vehicle that was reported stolen early Thursday morning.

According to Lt. Bottorff with the department, officers received the report of a stolen 2015 Chevy Cruze at 5:13 a.m. on Thursday. The vehicle was described as being black in color and had license Nebraska 5B4692. It had been stolen from a location in the 800 block of S. Broad Street. GPS was able to locate the vehicle in the 400 block of S. H Street. There was minor damage to the vehicle when it was found. The department is continuing to look for information in regards to the theft of the vehicle.

On Thursday officers received a call at 8:57 a.m. from a building located in the 1000 block of N. Broad Street. The call was in regards to criminal mischief to city property. The damage consisted of black marker on the building and the walkway. The damage is undetermined at this time.

The department also received a call at 3:50 p.m. on Thursday. The call was in reference to a theft from a residence in the 800 block of S. Broad Street. The stolen items consisted of three gold-link bracelets, with one having “Rosa” in gold, as well as three unknown type rings. The estimated loss was $2,000.
