COLUMBUS – Local crews responded to a gas leak, after a gas line was broken in central Columbus.
Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says the gas line was broken while a porch was being put in, at the residence. The police reports show the leak was reported to police at 8 p.m. Thursday evening on the 1700 block of 17th Street, and show the call was completed at 9:12 p.m.
After arriving on scene, Columbus Fire and Black Hills crews were notified. No injuries were suffered as a result of the leak, according to Thalken.
