COLUMBUS – If you walked through the Ramada this weekend, you may have noticed the building packed wall to wall with scrapbookers from across the state.
Imagine That Owner Audra Jedlicka says attendees come to the bi-yearly scrapbooking event to learn about the latest styles and techniques in scrapbooking.
“We’re having 250 women, that come from all over Nebraska, and actually all over out of state. So we entertain and educate them about the scrapbooking world for 3 and a half days,” says Jedlicka. “We go to market and to show, and we pride ourselves on learning, and so what’s the hottest, the newest stuff in scrapbooking. And we come back and show them the hot products, how to use them.”
The scrapbookers began Thursday and worked through Sunday afternoon, staying up past 2 a.m. some nights. The scrapbooking event is bi-annual and for more information about future events contact Jedlicka at Imagine That in downtown Columbus.
