COLUMBUS – 21-year-old Jordan Cordero was arraigned in Platte County Court Wednesday morning.
The Columbus resident who had a brief foot pursuit with Columbus police back on September 10th and brandished a shotgun was read his charges. He is looking at six felony counts along with two misdemeanor charges.
He is currently charged with attempted first degree assault, terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum of nine years imprisonment along with nine months post release supervision.
He is scheduled to appear back in court for a status hearing on October 10th at 10:15 am.
