Lakeview Wins District, Scotus’ Vuncannon Headed to State

COLUMBUS – Lakeview’s dominant performance at the B-2 District Golf meet earned them a spot in State, while Scotus’ Bryce VunCannon qualified individually.

Lakeview won the invited overall with a score of 340, to send their team to the state competition. Colten Remm was the low shooter for the Vikings with an 81 to take 4th, while Caden Remm shot an 84 for 8th and Ethan Paben shot an 87 for 10th place.  Rounding out the team score for the vikings were Carter Luedtke with an 88 and Elijah Mohlman with a 92.

Scotus will be sending one golfer to the State Tournament, in Bryce VunCannon who snagged 5th place individually with an 82.

Scotus missed qualifying as a team by one position, finishing in 4th of the 13 that competed, with a score of 368. O’Neill took 2nd with a 345 and Mount Michael Benedictine took 3rd with a 354. Schuyler finished in 7th on the day with a 401.
