COLUMBUS – Mayor Jim Bulkley declared October as Physical Therapy Month during the City Council meeting on Monday night.
The declaration is in partnership with the American Physical Therapy Association and Columbus Physical Therapy. This year’s national theme for Physical Therapy Month is “Treating Pain Takes Teamwork”.
Columbus Physical Therapy says that their mission is dedicated to the promotion of health maintenance by way of consultation, education, evaluation, treatment, and advocacy to patients and staff.
The efforts of Physical Therapy Month will be to bring awareness to the Columbus community, as well as the country as a whole, of healthier and more active lifestyles.
