FULLERTON – The Nance County Sheriff’s Office introduced their furry officer on Facebook this week.
The sheriff’s office posted pictures of, Zina, their narcotics K9. The department is able to have Zina, thanks to grants and donations, says the sheriff’s office.
Countryside Veterinary Clinic in Fullerton provides medical care, while Iams in Aurora donates Zina’s food every year, says the NCSO.
Lieutenant Woollen is Zina’s handler and is in charge of seeking out the funds, including donations from Keystone XL and the Margaret Russell Foundation.
The NCSO says donations have also been contributed by local business and citizens, which are greatly appreciated.
