NORFOLK – Almost one month into the school season, Norfolk Catholic High School is settling in with a new principal.
Principal Amy Wattier is bringing her past experience in the school system to improve the Norfolk Catholic’s teachers, students and curriculum. She says the journey of moving to a new school has challenged her as an educator.
“This journey thus far, like I said, had changed me personally a bunch and I think in a very positive way, but I think we have a lot of changes going on here at NC and I think that I think collectively; students, staff and administrative team really want to move forward and that has been an impressive step.”
Wattier is bringing 27 years of teaching experience into the new job. She is replacing Jeff Bellar who will continue in the school as Athletic Director.
