SCHUYLER – A Grand Jury investigation returned a no true bill, following the death of a man who was a suspect in a Schuyler murder case in June.
Colfax County Attorney Denise Kracl says the investigation returned a no true bill in the investigation into the death of Fidelgarin Valdes, 55, back in June. Garin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on June 30th, when law enforcement were attempting to serve a warrant in a murder case at a residence in Schuyler, said officials.
The finding of a no true bill means their will be no criminal charges filed in the case, says Kracl.
The investigation into the death was completed by the Nebraska State Patrol, says a press release.
