COLUMBUS – A local intersection and an additional street will see extended closures for construction beginning Tuesday.
City Officials released a press release saying, the intersection of 12th Avenue and 8th Street will remain closed for roughly 3 weeks, with a detour around the closed intersection being put in place. The intersection is closing for reconstruction.
The work will include special concrete mixes, that will help limit the time of closure, says officials.
The Glur Park sanitary sewer lift station will also cause 26th Avenue to be closed from 28th Street to 31st Street. The closure will last for roughly one month, with a detour around the closed segment to be put in place, say city officials.
Motorists and pedestrians traveling in the area are asked to use caution when traveling in the areas.
