SCHUYLER – The Schuyler Community continues to strive for changes around the town.
The Schuyler City Council held its second meeting of the month and moved forward with two key items.
The members discussed and approved the purchase of three pallets of top dressing for the baseball and softball fields in the amount of one thousand, one hundred and seventy-one dollars with twenty cents.
This will be reimbursed by the Softball Association, Baseball Association and Crawdads.
The council also moved forward with the first payment of eighty-two thousand, seven hundred and twenty-nine dollars with fifty-seven cents to Stephens & Smith Construction for the 2016 Higgins Road Trail project.
Schuyler Mayor David Reinecke addressed the project is almost done with just some minor changes left and some fencing in the golf course area needed.
