STANTON – A two-vehicle collision partially blocked highway 275 for about 45 minutes.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash on Tuesday morning. Sheriff Mike Unger reported that the accident occurred at the Highway 275/Highway 15 junction North of Pilger. Just before 7:30 a.m. 37-year-old Douglas Clause turned west onto Highway 275 when he collided with 21-year-old Nour Kouatli. Both drivers were treated at the scene by Pilger Rescue.
Sheriff Unger also reports that the deployment of the airbag and seat belts in Nour Kouatli’s car prevented serious injuries.
