Beatrice defeated Columbus 51-39 on Friday night

COLUMBUS – Beatrice earned a hard-fought victory in their season opener.

The Orangemen traveled to Columbus on Friday night and defeated the Discoverers 51-39, outscoring Columbus 19-8 in the final quarter.
